FAQ'S
Handmade cold-processed soap is a traditional method of soap-making that involves mixing oils, butters, and lye solution. The term “cold-processed” refers to the fact that no external heat source is used to accelerate the saponification (soap-making) process. Instead, the soap mixture is left to cure and harden over several weeks, allowing the chemical reaction between the oils and lye to occur naturally. This process retains the natural glycerin produced during saponification, resulting in a moisturizing bar of soap. Handmade soaps often contain natural ingredients such as essential oils, herbs, or botanicals, making them popular among those seeking natural skincare products. Additionally, handmade soaps are typically free from synthetic additives and harsh chemicals, making them gentle and suitable for sensitive skin.
